Lebeckia is a genus of legume in the Fabaceae family native to the fynbos (Cape Floristic Kingdom) of South Africa. Several members of Lebeckia were recently transferred to other genera (Calobota and Wiborgiella). Members of Lebeckia are known to produce pyrrolizidine alkaloids, including ammodendrine, lebeckianine, and lupanine.

Lebeckia sericea is a beautiful shrub that grows to 150cm tall. It has attractive silvery leaves and from winter to summer it bears very showy yellow flowers.
