Schizorhiza neglecta, previously known as Lapeirousia neglecta, has 3-6 sword shaped to falcate leaves and white or blue flowers in an open panicle. The lower tepals have darker markings. It flowers in late spring to summer after a fire and is found on rocky sandstone slopes in the southwestern Cape.
